I've lived in Havasu since 1964, four months after Lake Havasu received its name. My grandfather, Chet Chenoweth started coming to Havasu in 1942 as a WWII air force pilot trainer for rest and relaxation. In the mid 1950s Chet started investing in land adjoining Havasu and to the north of the city limits. My father Lyle Matzdorff then started selling land for him in 1963. I am a third generation Realtor* in Lake Havasu. I know the area and local real estate market well. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of the town I grew up in. Whether selling or buying, my gratification is seeing my clients' dreams turning into reality.
